Welcome to the University of Maine at Machias!

College is an exciting new adventure, which requires a lot of hard work.  The University of Maine at Machias has a dynamic staff of professionals dedicated to helping students learn and succeed through a variety of out-of-classroom experiences.  As you embark on your college career take advantage of all the opportunities that you will be exposed to during your time at UMM.

Whether you are a commuter student or a residence hall student, check out our student resources that are available to help you navigate toward graduation.  Students often ask “What is there to do when I am not in class?”  Depending on your interest there are several ways to become involved in the UMM community.  Join a varsity sport , play intramurals or attend a meeting for a student organization to learn more.  If you are still having trouble finding something for you, check out the Student Activities office located in Dorward Hall.
