Kilburn Commons is a great place to eat. This location offers cutting-edge American entrees, ethnically-inspired foods, vegetarian selections and lots more... You’ll find an abundant variety of fresh foods, prepared from scratch each day. Many foods are prepared right before your eyes. Our chef prepares a changing menu of features including traditional, homestyle meals, fresh cooked pastas and simmering sauces. Lighter fare includes soups and chowders, the deli and a 40-item salad bar. We also offer "Just 4U" - menu items that are low fat, low carb or heart healthy as well as vegan and vegetarian items.
The Galley Snack Bar (Kimball Hall) offers a wide variety of cook to order grill items, specialty sandwiches, pizza, snacks and ice cream, freshly brewed coffees, teas and homemade baked goods.
Both dining facilities are operated by ARAMARK. ARAMARK is the oldest and most experienced firm in the field of food service management in the country. The company's philosophy is to provide quality dining services for those UMM students on one of the meal plans.
ARAMARK believes in the provision of quality food, a clean and orderly environment, friendly services and a receptive response to UMM's needs. The University's Food Service Director, Mark Delcourt, maintains a good rapport with students and listens to student requests for food service improvements.
