006 Miles. Sir, alle thare counsaile wele we knawe.
007 Sen we are comen to Caluarie
008 Latte ilke man helpe nowe as hym awe.

009 Miles. We are alle redy, loo,
010 þat forward to fulfille.

011 Miles 4. Late here howe we schall doo,
012 And go we tyte thertille.

013 Miles 1. It may noyot helpe her for to hone
014 If we schall any worshippe wynne.

015 Miles 2. He muste be dede nedelyngis by none.

016 Miles 3. þanne is goode tyme that we begynne.

017 Miles 4. Late dynge hym doune, than is he done-
018 He schall nought dere vs with his dynne.

019 Miles 1. He schall be sette and lerned sone,
020 With care to hym and all his kynne.

021 Miles 2. þe foulest dede of all
022 Shalle he dye for his dedis.

023 Miles 3. That menes crosse hym we schall.

024 Miles 4. Behalde, so right he redis.

025 Miles 1. Thanne to this werke vs muste take heede,
026 So that oure wirkyng be noght wronge.

027 Miles 2. None othir noote to neven is nede,
028 But latte vs haste hym for to hange.

029 Miles 3. And I haue gone for gere goode speede,
030 Bothe hammeres and nayles large and lange.

031 Miles 4. þanne may we boldely do this dede.
032 Commes on, late kille this traitoure strange.

033 Miles 1. Faire myght yoe falle in feere
034 þat has wrought on this wise.

035 Miles 2. Vs nedis nought for to lere
036 Suche faitoures to chastise.

083 Miles 3. þe lefte hande thanne is myne-
084 Late see who beres hym beste.

085 Miles 4. Hys lymmys on lenghe than schalle I lede,
086 And even vnto the bore thame bringe.

087 Miles 1. Vnto his heede I schall take hede,
088 And with myne hande helpe hym to hyng.

089 Miles 2. Nowe sen we foure schall do this dede
090 And medill with this vnthrifty thyng,
091 Late no man spare for speciall speede
092 Tille that we haue made endyng.

093 Miles 3. þis forward may not faile;
094 Nowe are we right arraiede.

095 Miles 4. This boy here in oure baile
096 Shall bide full bittir brayde.

097 Miles 1. Sir knyghtis, saie, howe wirke we nowe?

108 þe senous are so gone ynne.

113 Miles 1. Why carpe yoe so? Faste on a corde
114 And tugge hym to, by toppe and taile.

116 Come helpe to haale, with ille haile.

117 Miles 1. Nowe certis that schall I doo-
118 Full snelly as a snayle

119 Miles 3. And I schall tacche hym too,
120 Full nemely with a nayle.
121 þis werke will holde, that dar I heete,
122 For nowe are feste faste both his hende.

123 Miles 4. Go we all foure thanne to his feete,
124 So schall oure space be spedely spende.

159 But sir, that dede will do vs dere.

161 þis harlotte muste be hanged here.

163 Miles 3. Feste on youre fyngeres than, in feere.

164 Miles 4. I wene it wolle neuere come thore-
165 We foure rayse it noyot right to-yere.

166 Miles 1. Say man, whi carpis thou soo?
167 Thy liftyng was but light.

169 To heve hym vppe on hight.

170 Miles 3. Now certis, I hope it schall noght nede

195 My schuldir is in soundre.

198 Miles 3. This crosse and I in twoo muste twynne,
199 Ellis brekis my bakke in sondre sone.

200 Miles 4. Laye downe agayne and leue youre dynne,

202 Miles 1. Assaie sirs, latte se yf any gynne
203 May helpe hym vppe withouten hone,
204 For here schulde wight men worschippe wynne,

227 So boustous was he for to bere.

228 Miles 1. Nowe raise hym nemely for the nonys
229 And sette hym be this mortas heere,
230 And latte hym falle in alle at ones,
231 For certis that payne schall haue no pere.

233 Miles 4. Latte doune, so all his bones
234 Are asoundre nowe on sides seere.

235 Miles 1. þis fallyng was more felle
236 þan all the harmes he hadde.
237 Nowe may a man wele telle
238 þe leste lith of this ladde.

239 Miles 3. Methynkith this crosse will noght abide
240 Ne stande stille in this morteyse yoitt.

241 Miles 4. Att the firste tyme was it made ouere-wyde;
242 þat makis it wave, thou may wele witte.

243 Miles 1. Itt schall be sette on ilke a side
244 So that it schall no forther flitte.
245 Goode wegges schall we take this tyde
246 And feste the foote, thanne is all fitte.

247 Miles 2. Here are wegges arraied
248 For that, both grete and smale.

249 Miles 3. Where are oure hameres laide
250 þat we schulde wirke withall?

251 Miles 4. We haue them here euen atte oure hande.

252 Miles 2. Gyffe me this wegge, I schall it in dryue.

253 Miles 4. Here is anodir yoitt ordande.

254 Miles 3. Do take it me hidir belyue.

255 Miles 1. Laye on thanne faste.

307 Whedir itt falle to knyght or knave.
