UMM Student Membership Information
Fall and Spring Semesters
All University of Maine at Machias full-time and part-time students are considered members of the Center for Lifelong Learning. A valid UMM student identification card must be presented to access the Center for Lifelong Learning.
Summer
All University of Maine at Machias full-time and part-time students are required to purchase a summer membership for $40, or to pay a day pass of $7 per day. A summer membership is valid from the end of the spring semester to the first day of the fall semester.
Spouses and Families
Spouses and families of UMM students must purchase a regular community membership or enter as a paid guest of the student/member ($4.00 per visit).
Faculty and Staff Membership Information
The faculty/staff rate is available to current University of Maine at Machias faculty and staff. Verifying identification is required. Payment options include cash, credit card, check, or payroll deductions for annual memberships. All payroll deductions will continue until the Center for Lifelong Learning is notified in writing to discontinue your membership or your employment has ended.

Community Membership Information
Any adult, 18 years of age or older, who does not have affiliation to the University through other categories is eligible for a community membership. Payment options include cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or check. Prices are subject to change without notice. For further information, call 207-255-1408.
Couples
A Couple is classified as two individuals, one at least 18 years of age, and in the same household. Married couples, significant others and an adult and child are acceptable.
Family
A family is more than two individuals, one being at least 18 years of age, living under the same roof.
Senior Citizen
A senior citizen is any individual 60 years of age or older. Proof of age is required.
Summer Membership
Covers any 90 day period May 1st - September 30th.
Business Membership
A minimum of three memberships must be purchased. All memberships begin and end on the same day. Additional memberships purchased will expire on the same date of the others and will be prorated once at the six-month mark.
Time Freeze on Membership
Members may temporarily discontinue membership for any reason. A time freeze is effective only upon written notification received from the Center for Lifelong Learning member. A time freeze can not be requested retroactively. Memberships may be frozen once during a one-year membership for a period of not less than 30 days and no more than 90 days.
Guest Pass
CLL members may bring up to three individuals with them for $4 per person.
